The Crosswind Cafe Launches!

After wondering what to do with The Crosswind Cafe for a long time, I've decided to host it as a newsletter webcomic - go to thecrosswindcafe.com to check it out!

What is a newsletter webcomic? Basically you subscribe (helpful form below), and new comic updates get sent to your email inbox every Sunday. Or you can always read on the site.

I've been very annoyed with how platformed the internet is these days, and feeling stuck at the whims of billionaire hyper-capitalists. This isn't a perfect solution, but it's the best I could think of.

I'm kind of surprised not many people have used a newsletter to host comics. Pages coming direct to me every week is a way that I would love to read comics, and it's a much more elegant interface than Patreon. (Perhaps I will eventually run into a very good reason that nobody seems to host comics this way.)

To that point, it's possible to add financial support to the comic by adding a paid subscription, but first and foremost my main goal is to have people read it.

More than anything, I'm excited to get going again! I've been slowly building out this world and characters and I'm excited to continue their stories.
